# Gate Review

Ninety minutes. One gate. A dated next action.

You bring the evidence. You leave with a scoring, an artifact, and a decision that could survive a cross-examination.

## The two failure modes this session exists to end

1.  **The guru carousel.** New framework monthly, none used past week two.
2.  **Momentum theater.** Building steadily, deciding nothing, with no artifact a stranger could audit.

A Gate Review is the opposite of both: an audit you write yourself, in company.

## How the 90 minutes run

0–10

### Your claim.

Stated plainly: buyer, job, where you believe you are, and why.

10–40

### The evidence.

We walk what exists: Pain Ledger, receipts, pipeline, metrics with denominators. Missing evidence is a finding, not a failure.

40–70

### The scoring.

Your gate, tested against its published pass bar. Verdict: PASS / CONTINUE / REJECT, written, with the reason that produced it.

70–90

### The decision.

One experiment, one artifact, one owner (you), one date, and the stop-loss for the money or hours it will take.

## What you leave with

-   Your completed Gate Scorecard, dated and scored: evidence over enthusiasm
-   Your primary constraint, a measurable next milestone, and a 30-day execution plan
-   One artifact completed, not described: interview plan, one-page offer, or paid-waitlist spec. Your gate decides which.
-   A written verdict with criteria, or the next best alternative gate named
-   A 48-hour recap note: the decisions, the dates, what would change them

## What you bring

Links to whatever evidence exists · any numbers with their denominators · the one decision you've been avoiding. That's usually the actual agenda. Camera on. You do the writing.

Not a pitch, not a build service, not a guarantee. The session produces defensible decisions; revenue remains your department.

## Questions, before the session.

Do I need to read Zero to MRR first?

No. The Gate Finder covers the full map.

What if the verdict is REJECT?

Then the session earned its fee: a contradicted thesis is the cheapest possible stop decision.
